I have found something interesting on Amazon. Some of you might not ever heard about this before. This is Kettler Cat Excavator which is quite cheap on Amazon. So, I have to say "it's a big BARGAINNNNNNN"
If you don't buy it, you will regret later. hehe.
I have some information copied from Amazon( I hope they will not accuse me about license on this information)

Once seated, your child can use the dual action levers and large digging shovel to move sand, dirt, snow, or whatever else his or her heart desires. Like a real Cat, the excavator rotates 360 degrees, so you have full flexibility, and its tracked wheels are ideal for tooling around in the soft stuff. Best of all, the mini-Cat sports a sturdy high-carbon steel frame, so it won't fall apart after a few months of use, unlike so many plastic children's toys. Recommended for kids ages 3 and up, the excavator is backed by a three-year residential and one-year institutional warranty.

Here it is, some specification for Kettler Cat Excavator.

My son received this for his fourth birthday and loves it! Very sturdy - easy for him to operate - I highly recommend it.
My wife and I purchased this differ for my son's third birthday. He loved the diggers at nearby playgrounds and a digger was his number one wish for his birthday.

The tractor wheels don't really make the digger super mobile, but they do make for a very stable base and, even more importantly, they make this digger look even more like a real tractor, which my son loves.

I was a little concerned that my son would be too small for this digger or that it would be tipsy, but was pleased to find out that it works great for him and he's had no accidents on it.

The digger has a red plate that locks it in the upright position. It has a tendency to lock the digger in that position unintentionally and my son isn't coordinated enough to hold the digger upright with one hand and unlock it with the other so I just removed the locking plate, which was easy. I was a little concerned that he might pinch something (Ouch!) in the joint that was then left uncovered but this hasn't been an issue.

All in all, a great purchase. If your 3-5 year-old is even remotely interested in trucks, tractors or digging he or she is sure to love it.
We bought this excavator for my son's second birthday and he just loves it! He is a big kid, so he is able to sit in the seat and manipulate the bucket. The arm does lock - and he is not coordinated enough yet to pull back the left lever and unlock the arm. It is not an issue because at this point, he is just happy to sit and spin around on it. It does cost a chunk of change, but is worth every penny. I know that he will play with this for years! Not one regret with this purchase!
My boy received this 3 years ago when he was 1 1/2 years old. He loved to sit on it in the house for the first year and turn around on it. After the first year, we moved it outdoors to the big sandbox. It has sat in the sandbox ever since.

My boy is now 4. He loves to go outside and "work" on his excavator. He can do everything really well now. He loves how it looks like the "real" thing. It has held up really great and has not faded or rusted. Some of the stickers are peeling off. It has sat for 2 years in all sorts of weather, including the scorching 110 degrees of summer and the freezing nights of winter.

My only complaints are that one of the bults in the "arm" of the excavator routinely comes undone and falls off. Also, it has been known to tip over a few times when my boy is digging while turned to the side position of the track base. It would probably be better if it was on a solid flat surface, but then it wouldn't be digging in the sand, right?

After 3 years, this excavator is still hard on the job and going strong!
I recently got this for my 5 yr old who is obsessed with diggers and construction equipment. This thing is built to last lemme tell ya.its all metal except for the rubber treads and the seat so its ment to stand the test of time and the abuse of a kid.heck ill even play with him and get my butt on this thing and scoop up stuff, fun little toy.great to bring to a beach to...just be prepaired for every little kid wanting to test it out.
