I have had my Basket for a few weeks. I have had no issue with it. I rarely take it off, it wonderful for carrying everything.
I bought this a year ago and the part that connects the attachments to the basket came apart. I really didn't use it for very heavy items and rarely used it. I am going to try to find someone to fix it.
I really like the basket. I'll probably need to put something across the top to keep things in, but it works well and stays put.
I have this type of rear basket mounted on a "beam" type rear rack (the kind that attaches to your seat post and has no downward stays) and it looks really really cool and I am amazed at what I've carried home in it (like 30 pounds). But one thing I had not thought of is the center of gravity issue. With the typical rear baskets that hang down from the rack you have a low center of gravity and that's good but when you carry a heavy load in this type of basket sitting up high atop your rack you better be fit and have a very good sense of balance because it can easily throw you off balance. Once I get rolling it's okay but I have my saddle up too high to keep my feet on the ground when starting and that moment there when I'm pushing off to get started and up into my saddle I have to work hard to stay balanced and I believe it's because of the load being up high. Just something to consider.
This is a great basket. It fits well on the bike rack, holds a lot, and is easy to get on and off. My one quibble is that the handle fell off within the first 5 rides (and while I was biking). They might want to figure out a better handle system because it is a useful feature. Or perhaps mine got a bit too shaken up in shipping. But other than that it's been a fantastic basket and I'm very happy with it.

    the basket is a little smaller than i envisaged - but it fits the trike perfectly. We have added a cable tie, otherwise its easy for a curious toddler to remove over, and over, and over.......
    My son loves this Kettler basket! Since the basket does not need to be permanently attached to handlebars, he puts it on his Air Happy Kettrike and Kettler Bingo bike. My son loves to put toys and other items he finds into the basket. The basket makes my son happy so I am happy!
    This thing does not even stay on. It is now just sitting on a shelf.
    My daughter, as most children, loves putting her toys in a special place. This basket serves that purpose well, and it's so cute.



    Works perfectly with the Kettler Air Navigator. The basket is small - but then so is the trike! We can put quite a few small library books in it, or a few truckes for the park, so it is practical. We have not noticed any stability issues with the basket and are very pleased with it!

          If you add more than one seat to the tricycle than I would suggest that you add this push bar. It makes it so much easier to push. very good item and the price was great.
          Purchased this item with the intent that I'd use it on the Kettrike Air Jumbo Tricycle. THIS ITEM DOES NOT WORK WITH THE TRIKE! The instructions are not altogether clear, the diagram supplied shows how to assemble it, but makes no mention as to why there's a second mounting bracket and stem, nor does it show which trikes it will work with. While I'm pleased with the build quality of the tricycle, I very disappointed in the lack of information regarding the push bar, and the poor documentation that comes with it. Ascertain if your tricycle will work with any of the push bars before purchasing.
          Two Comments.

          1. To the previous poster who implied that this item was not compatable with the Air Navigator Product or some other Kettler Tricycle. Nonsense. I installed it without issue on the Air Navigator Tricycle.



          2. I installed this stroller bar on the Air Navigator Tricycle in less than 30mins and it only took that long because I read the directions first.



          This accessory is well made and quite useful.

          i found the stroller bar to be quite useful and probably much easier on the wrists than a pushbar. it fits perfectly onto the Kettler Happy Trike.
